Human Resources Information System

Functions:

- To provide accurate and up-to-date personnel records for proper manpower planning, budgeting and control in order to have an efficient and effective Civil Service;

- To control Staff audits,

- Undertake on day-to-day basis administrative matters of the unit;

-  To ensure that the system is properly documented e.g. preparation and maintenance of user manual, systems manual;

- To liaise with, and advise, all Ministries and Offices, on the functional use of the HRIS;

- To advise Ministries on management reporting structures, data collection and entry procedures, to assist in the implementation and to ensure that the data held on the system is accurate and relevant;

- Provide professional advice to heads of departments in other ministries;
